History
1984-85:
- Began (learned) with Damian Coen as a guitar / harmonica duo ("Null 'n Void")
- Formed 'The Mudsteppers' Jug Band
 Damian Coen and Damon Davies as 'Null and Void' in 1984

1989-90:
- Joined 'The Leisuremasters' (on acoustic bass) with Brendan Gallagher (ex Stumblers, Karma County), Pete Burgess and Dom Turner (Backsliders)
- Graduated to Guitar
1992:
- Formed 'The Raindogs' with Pete Burgess and Andy Lewis (Whitlams, Gadflys) - a high energy acoustic trio
1993-94:
- Founding Member of Mic Conway's 'Boodle-Am-Shake'
- Worked with Ron and Jeff King (Foreday Riders) as an acoustic trio
- Worked with Bridie King, from duo to eight-piece band
- Started doing some solo work

1995:
- Recorded 'Ride This Train' CD
- Moved to Cobargo, South East NSW
1996:
- Awarded Best New Male Artist, Australian Blues Awards

- 'Serious, Man' voted Best Australian Blues Album in Rhythms Readers Poll
